Mr. Bram received the article from Mr. Dale Hayhurst of Encana Oil & Gas (USA) Inc. The article was originally published in the Vessels’ Voice, a publication for Vessels Oil & Gas Company. Tom Vessels, Sr., drilled the first “discovery” well for what is today’s Wattenberg Field as defined by the J-sad gas completion. The Grenemyer #1 well was drilled in 1970.
